ID93 is a recombinant protein subunit vaccine candidate designed for the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis. It consists of a fusion protein comprising four *Mycobacterium tuberculosis* (Mtb) antigens: Rv2608, Rv3619, Rv3620, and Rv1813. These antigens represent different stages of the Mtb life cycle, including virulence factors and proteins expressed during latency. The vaccine is typically formulated with a Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) agonist adjuvant, such as Glucopyranosyl Lipid A (GLA) in either a stable emulsion (GLA-SE) or a liposomal formulation (GLA-LSQ, also known as AP10-602). Originally developed by the Infectious Disease Research Institute (IDRI), now known as the Access to Advanced Health Institute (AAHI), with support from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the vaccine is also being developed by Quratis under the name QTP101. It aims to induce a robust Th1-polarized immune response to provide protection against both active and latent tuberculosis.
