Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IDB003 is a preclinical, ultra-potent human monoclonal antibody developed by IDBiologics for the treatment and prevention of COVID-19. It was discovered at the Vanderbilt Vaccine Center (VVC) in Dr. James Crowe's lab from B cells of recovered COVID-19 patients and exclusively licensed by IDBiologics from Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). The antibody targets the SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein. IDBiologics planned to initiate a Phase 1 clinical trial in the third quarter of 2020.
