Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IDC002 is a preclinical bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Prestige Biopharma for the treatment of solid tumors. It is engineered to simultaneously target Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2) and Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF). This dual-targeting approach is designed to provide a synergistic therapeutic effect by inhibiting HER2-mediated signaling pathways that drive tumor cell proliferation while simultaneously blocking VEGF-induced angiogenesis, which is critical for tumor nutrient supply and metastasis. By addressing both tumor growth and the supporting vascular environment, IDC002 aims to overcome resistance mechanisms often observed with single-agent therapies in HER2-positive cancers.
