Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IDC009 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody currently in preclinical development by Prestige Biopharma for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapeutic candidate is designed to simultaneously target Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma Up-regulated Factor (PAUF) and Programmed Cell Death 1 Ligand 1 (PD-L1). PAUF is a pro-tumorigenic cytokine that is frequently overexpressed in various cancers, particularly pancreatic cancer, where it promotes tumor cell proliferation, metastasis, and the creation of an immunosuppressive microenvironment. PD-L1 is a well-characterized immune checkpoint protein that binds to PD-1 on T-cells to inhibit their anti-tumor activity. By dual-targeting these pathways, IDC009 aims to provide a synergistic effect that blocks tumor progression while reactivating the host's immune response against the malignancy.
