Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IDC2503 is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody biosimilar being developed by Prestige Biopharma (PBK). It is designed as a biosimilar to atezolizumab (marketed as Tecentriq), a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). By inhibiting the interaction between PD-L1 and its receptors, PD-1 and B7.1, IDC2503 acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor, preventing the suppression of T-cell-mediated immune responses against tumor cells. The drug is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and urothelial carcinoma, aiming to provide a therapeutic profile similar to the reference product.
