IDP-001 is a first-in-class bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by InduPro Soluciones for the treatment of solid tumors. Utilizing the company's proprietary MInt (Membrane Interactomics) platform, IDP-001 was designed to target the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and CUB domain-containing protein 1 (CDCP1), also known as tumor-associated proximity antigen E1 (TAPA-E1). The drug consists of a bispecific antibody conjugated to the microtubule inhibitor monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE) with a drug-to-antibody ratio (DAR) of 2. This proximity-based approach requires the co-localization of both targets on the cell surface for optimal engagement, thereby enhancing therapeutic index by sparing normal tissues that may express only one of the targets. IDP-001 is currently in IND-enabling preclinical development.
