IDP-233 is a first-in-class ASCL1 inhibitor being developed by IDP Pharma for the treatment of neuroendocrine malignancies, including small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and neuroendocrine prostate cancer (nePC). ASCL1 (Achaete-Scute Complex-Like 1) is a transcription factor and an intrinsically disordered protein (IDP) that plays a critical role in the development and progression of neuroendocrine cancers. IDP-233 is a small molecule peptidomimetic designed using IDP Pharma's proprietary Intrametics™ technology platform, which enables the direct inhibition and cellular degradation of IDPs. The drug is currently in preclinical development, undergoing toxicology and formulation studies.
