IDP-410 is a novel, first-in-class synthetic stapled peptide designed to directly target and inhibit the N-MYC (MYCN) protein monomer. Developed by IDP Discovery Pharma, IDP-410 disrupts the interaction between N-MYC and its obligate dimerization partner MAX, thereby destabilizing N-MYC and promoting its degradation. This mechanism of action compromises the viability of glioblastoma cells and impairs tumor growth and vascularization. In preclinical studies, systemic intravenous administration of IDP-410 demonstrated significant efficacy in reducing tumor progression in both subcutaneous and intracranial glioblastoma xenograft models, highlighting its potential as a targeted therapeutic for highly aggressive brain tumors.
