Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IDP-601 is a dual inhibitor of Hypoxia-Inducible Factor-1 (HIF-1) and Hypoxia-Inducible Factor-2 (HIF-2) being developed by IDP Pharma. Utilizing the proprietary INTRAMETICS platform, IDP-601 is designed as a peptidomimetic small molecule that targets intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs). The drug is intended to treat various solid tumors, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and renal cell carcinoma (RCC), by addressing the upregulation of both HIF-1 and HIF-2, which are associated with poor clinical prognosis and resistance to selective HIF-2 inhibitors. IDP-601 is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development.
