Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**IEC-001** is an investigational, personalized autologous whole-tumor-derived immunotherapy being developed by Imvax for **endometrial cancer**. The product is manufactured from a patient's resected endometrial tumor cells, which are treated with the insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor antisense oligonucleotide IMV-001, loaded into implantable biodiffusion chambers, and irradiated. The approach is intended to induce immunogenic tumor-cell death, release the patient's broad tumor-antigen repertoire and immunostimulatory factors, promote dendritic-cell maturation, and prime tumor-reactive CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell responses with immunologic memory. IEC-001 remains in preclinical, IND-enabling development. ([imvax.com](https://www.imvax.com/pipeline/))
