ifosfamide + paclitaxel + gemcitabine + doxorubicin + cisplatin

A sequential chemotherapy regimen consisting of doxorubicin and gemcitabine (AG) followed by ifosfamide, paclitaxel, and cisplatin (ITP). This combination has been studied primarily in patients with advanced transitional cell carcinoma (TCC). The regimen typically involves administration of AG every 2 weeks for five or six cycles followed by ITP every 21 days for four cycles, with granulocyte colony-stimulating factor support between cycles. While showing activity in previously untreated patients with advanced TCC, it is associated with significant toxicity, particularly myelosuppression.
