IGC-504 is a small molecule drug candidate developed by IGC Pharma (formerly India Globalization Capital) for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. It is described as a formulation of a natural compound that targets the reduction of neuroinflammation and the inhibition of amyloid-beta (Aβ) plaque aggregation, which are central pathological hallmarks of Alzheimer's. Preclinical studies have indicated that IGC-504 can significantly reduce the accumulation of Aβ plaques in the brain, potentially slowing disease progression.
