IgE kinoid

IgE kinoid is an investigational therapeutic vaccine designed to induce the immune system to generate polyclonal antibodies against immunoglobulin E (IgE). The kinoid technology involves coupling the target protein (in this case, IgE) to a carrier protein, making it immunogenic and prompting the body to produce neutralizing antibodies. This approach aims to reduce circulating IgE levels and thereby modulate allergic responses. The primary indication under investigation for IgE kinoid is allergic diseases such as asthma. Neovacs is developing this therapy as part of its broader Kinoid platform, which targets cytokines or autoantigens implicated in autoimmune and allergic diseases[2].
