Overview

XNW5004 + CHOEP is a combination regimen consisting of the novel EZH2 inhibitor igermetostat (XNW5004) and the standard chemotherapy backbone CHOEP (cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, etoposide, and prednisone). Igermetostat is a selective, substrate-competitive small molecule inhibitor of Enhancer of Zeste Homolog 2 (EZH2), which is the catalytic subunit of the polycomb repressive complex 2 (PRC2) responsible for histone H3 lysine 27 (H3K27) methylation. Developed by Evopoint Biosciences, this combination is primarily being evaluated for the treatment of patients with newly diagnosed peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL). The regimen aims to combine the epigenetic modulating effects of igermetostat with the cytotoxic activity of the CHOEP regimen to improve outcomes in untreated PTCL patients.
