Overview

A synthetic antisense oligonucleotide designed to specifically bind to and inhibit translation of the mRNA of the human insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF-1R). By blocking IGF-1R expression, it disrupts the IGF signaling pathway that drives cell proliferation and survival in multiple tumors. Preclinical and clinical studies (e.g., CT102 and IGV-001) show effects including inhibition of tumor growth in hepatocellular carcinoma and potential immunostimulatory activity in glioblastoma, both as monotherapy and as part of combination immunotherapies[1][3][4][6][7].
