Overview
The IgGenix atopic dermatitis program involves the development of a monoclonal antibody designed to target and neutralize IgE autoantibodies. In patients with atopic dermatitis, IgE autoantibodies directed against self-antigens are believed to drive chronic, pathogenic inflammation. By specifically binding to these autoantibodies, the therapy aims to reduce IgE-mediated inflammatory cascades and alleviate disease symptoms. This program is currently in the discovery stage and leverages IgGenix's proprietary SEQ SIFTER™ platform, which isolates rare, allergen-specific B cells from patient blood to discover high-affinity, naturally occurring human antibodies.
