Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IGN381 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Igenica Biotherapeutics as a first-in-class immunotherapy targeting the VISTA immune checkpoint. VISTA (V-domain Ig suppressor of T cell activation) is an inhibitory receptor expressed on immune infiltrates that suppresses T-cell activation in the tumor microenvironment, contributing to immune evasion in cancer. IGN381 aims to block VISTA to enhance anti-tumor immune responses, with preclinical data supporting its potential in solid and hematological malignancies; it was part of Igenica's antibody portfolio before the company's asset sale in 2017.
