Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IGNX001 is an investigational, subcutaneously administered **fixed combination of two high-affinity human peanut-specific IgG4 monoclonal antibodies** developed by IgGenix for peanut allergy. The antibodies bind immunodominant epitopes on peanut allergens, including Ara h 2 and Ara h 6, competitively blocking allergen engagement with pathogenic IgE and thereby preventing downstream mast-cell and basophil activation that can cause allergic reactions and anaphylaxis after accidental peanut exposure. It is being evaluated in the randomized, placebo-controlled Phase 1 ACCELERATE Peanut study.
