IGT-627 is an investigational monoclonal antibody designed to directly activate the TIE2 (TEK receptor tyrosine kinase) receptor. Developed by Ingenia Therapeutics in collaboration with the Cardiovascular Center at Harvard Medical School and Mass General Brigham (MGB) Cardiovascular Center, IGT-627 is being evaluated for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). The drug utilizes Ingenia's proprietary TIE-body platform to bind and activate TIE2 independently of its natural ligands (such as Angiopoietin-1 and Angiopoietin-2). This direct activation is intended to stabilize and repair damaged microvasculature, exerting anti-fibrotic and anti-remodeling effects to address the underlying vascular pathology of PAH. As of mid-2026, IGT-627 is in the preclinical candidate derivation stage.
