Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IgY-102 is a broad-spectrum polyclonal avian IgY antibody candidate being developed by IGY Immune Technologies & Life Sciences for the treatment and prevention of influenza. The product is derived from the egg yolks of hens immunized with influenza antigens, resulting in a diverse population of antibodies (IgY) that can recognize and neutralize multiple strains of the virus. By binding to viral particles, IgY-102 aims to block viral entry into respiratory epithelial cells, providing a passive immunity approach that could be effective against seasonal and emerging pandemic strains. It is currently in the discovery stage of development.
