IgY-110

IgY-110 is a polyclonal IgY antibody preparation targeting the spike proteins of SARS-CoV-2, developed primarily as an intranasal spray for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 and other coronavirus infections.[4][5][7][9] Generated in hens and purified from egg yolks, the IgY antibodies bind and neutralize the viral spike protein, blocking its interaction with the ACE2 receptor and thereby preventing viral entry into host cells.[3][4][5] IGY Life Sciences is developing IgY-110 with a focus on high-risk populations such as the elderly and immunocompromised, leveraging the established GRAS safety status and mucosal delivery to provide rapid, localized passive immunity in the upper respiratory tract.[4][5][10]
