IH-2022 consolidation therapy is a multi-agent chemotherapy regimen developed by the Institute of Hematology & Blood Diseases Hospital, China, for the treatment of adult patients with Philadelphia chromosome-negative (Ph-negative) acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). This regimen is part of a pediatric-inspired protocol (IH-2022) and consists of a combination of vincristine, daunorubicin, cyclophosphamide, pegaspargase, prednisone, dexamethasone, cytarabine, 6-mercaptopurine, and high-dose methotrexate. It is typically administered following induction therapy to eliminate residual leukemia cells and reduce the risk of relapse. In current clinical trials, this consolidation phase is often evaluated in combination with targeted agents like venetoclax and immunotherapies such as blinatumomab to improve minimal residual disease (MRD) negativity and event-free survival.
