Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**iHIVARNA-01** is an investigational intranodal therapeutic mRNA vaccine for chronic HIV-1 infection in people receiving suppressive combination antiretroviral therapy. It is a fixed formulation of HIVACAT/HTI mRNA, designed to induce T-cell responses against conserved HIV-1 regions, plus TriMix mRNAs encoding CD40 ligand, constitutively active Toll-like receptor 4, and CD70 to activate antigen-presenting cells and enhance T-cell priming. The programme reached a randomized Phase IIa study but that trial was terminated; iHIVARNA-01 is not an approved therapy.
