IHL-675A

IHL-675A is a proprietary, oral fixed-dose combination drug candidate consisting of cannabidiol (CBD) and hydroxychloroquine sulfate (HCQ). Developed by Incannex Healthcare, it is designed to target two distinct inflammatory pathways synergistically. Hydroxychloroquine acts by interfering with antigen presentation and lysosomal acidification, while cannabidiol modulates the activity of inflammatory signaling receptors. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that the combination provides anti-inflammatory synergy beyond either agent alone. The primary indication under investigation is rheumatoid arthritis (RA), but the drug also shows potential for other chronic inflammatory conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, bronchitis, and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
