Drug intelligence / Profile preview
iHSC001 is an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) therapy being developed by Cell Inspire Biotechnology. The product consists of wild-type HSCs generated from iPSCs, intended to reconstitute or support hematopoiesis in patients with hematological disorders or those requiring bone marrow transplantation. By utilizing iPSC technology, iHSC001 aims to provide a scalable and potentially off-the-shelf source of hematopoietic stem cells, addressing the limitations associated with traditional donor-derived bone marrow or peripheral blood stem cell transplants. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
