iHSC002 is a preclinical-stage cell therapy developed by Cell Inspire Biotechnology. It consists of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) that have been genetically engineered to secrete Interleukin-15 (IL-15). The primary objective of this modification is to enhance the development of lymphoid lineages, such as T cells and Natural Killer (NK) cells, and to support overall immune function. By utilizing an iPSC-based platform, iHSC002 aims to provide a scalable and potentially off-the-shelf source of functional hematopoietic stem cells for the treatment of hematological malignancies and other immune-related disorders.
