Overview

iHSC004 is a preclinical cell therapy candidate developed by Cell Inspire Biotechnology for the treatment of multiple myeloma. It utilizes Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) technology applied to induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). The therapy is engineered to target B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), a protein highly expressed on the surface of malignant plasma cells. By using iPSCs as a starting material, the platform aims to provide an "off-the-shelf" source of CAR-engineered HSCs that can differentiate in vivo into various immune cell lineages, providing a sustained anti-tumor response against BCMA-positive myeloma cells.
