Overview

iHSC005 is an investigational cell therapy being developed by Cell Inspire Biotechnology for the treatment of multiple myeloma. The therapy consists of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) that have been engineered with a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting G protein-coupled receptor class C group 5 member D (GPRC5D). This approach aims to provide a renewable, standardized source of engineered stem cells that can differentiate into various immune effector cells to target GPRC5D-positive myeloma cells, potentially offering a more scalable and effective alternative to traditional autologous cell therapies.
