iHSC006 is a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-engineered induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived hematopoietic stem cell (iHSC) therapy developed by Cell Inspire Biotechnology. It is designed to target Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2) for the treatment of HER2-positive solid tumors. The therapy utilizes iPSCs as a starting material, which are engineered with a HER2-specific CAR and then differentiated into hematopoietic stem cells. Once administered, these cells are intended to generate effector cells in vivo that can specifically recognize and eliminate HER2-expressing tumor cells within the solid tumor microenvironment. This approach aims to provide a renewable and scalable source of therapeutic cells for solid tumor immunotherapy.
