Overview

iHSC007 is a preclinical CAR-engineered cell therapy developed by Cell Inspire Biotechnology. It utilizes induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived hematopoietic stem cells (iHSCs) that have been modified with a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting Trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (TROP2). The therapeutic strategy involves the differentiation of these CAR-iHSCs into various immune cell lineages (such as macrophages or NK cells) that inherit the CAR expression, enabling them to specifically target and eliminate TROP2-expressing solid tumors. This approach aims to overcome limitations of traditional CAR-T therapies by providing a renewable source of multi-lineage immune cells capable of infiltrating the tumor microenvironment.
