iHSC008 is a preclinical-stage cell therapy candidate developed by Cell Inspire Biotechnology. It consists of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) that have been engineered with a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting CD19. Additionally, the cells are modified to secrete Interleukin-15 (IL-15), a cytokine intended to promote the expansion, survival, and activity of the resulting effector cells. iHSC008 is being investigated for the treatment of B-cell malignancies, such as lymphoma, and B-cell mediated autoimmune conditions, including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), idiopathic inflammatory myopathy (IIM), and systemic sclerosis.
