iHSC011 is an investigational cell therapy being developed by Cell Inspire Biotechnology for the treatment of HER2-positive solid tumors. It consists of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) that have been engineered with a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2). Additionally, the cells are engineered to secrete Interleukin-15 (IL-15) to enhance the antitumor response, promote cell proliferation, and improve persistence within the tumor microenvironment. This approach aims to overcome the limitations of traditional CAR-T therapies in solid tumors by utilizing iPSC-derived stem cells as a renewable source for generating immune effector cells.
