iHSC014 is an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) therapy developed by Cell Inspire Biotechnology. The therapy utilizes the company's proprietary HIP01 hypoimmune engineering platform, which is designed to reduce the immune recognition and rejection of the transplanted cells by the recipient's immune system. By creating a hypoimmune cell product, iHSC014 aims to provide a universal, off-the-shelf source of hematopoietic stem cells, potentially eliminating the need for donor-recipient HLA matching in the treatment of various hematological disorders and other conditions requiring stem cell transplantation. The product is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
