Overview

iHSC015 is an engineered, induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) therapy being developed by Cell Inspire Biotechnology. The product is built on the company's HIP01 hypoimmune platform, which is designed to evade immune detection and reduce rejection by the host immune system. iHSC015 is further genetically modified to express CD16 (FcγRIIIa) and a secreted form of interleukin-15 (sIL-15). The inclusion of CD16 is intended to facilitate antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) when used in conjunction with therapeutic monoclonal antibodies, while the secretion of IL-15 is designed to enhance the survival, expansion, and anti-tumor activity of the immune cells derived from the transplanted stem cells. It is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of various cancers.
