Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IIT-ATLG-47 is an investigator-initiated clinical program sponsored by Neovii Pharmaceuticals, currently in Phase 1 development for patients undergoing stem cell transplantation (SCT). The program utilizes Neovii's anti-T-lymphocyte globulin (ATLG), which is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody preparation. ATLG is designed to deplete T-lymphocytes and modulate immune responses, primarily to prevent graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and facilitate successful engraftment during hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. By targeting a broad range of T-cell surface antigens, the therapy induces immunosuppression through mechanisms such as complement-dependent cytotoxicity, opsonization, and apoptosis of T-cells.
