Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IIT-ATLG-66 is an anti-T-lymphocyte globulin (ATLG) therapeutic candidate being developed by Neovii Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). As a polyclonal antibody preparation, it is designed to target and deplete T-lymphocytes, which are responsible for the autoimmune destruction of insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. By modulating the immune response, IIT-ATLG-66 aims to preserve endogenous insulin production in patients with T1D. The program is currently in Phase 1 clinical development, leveraging Neovii's established expertise in ATLG therapies such as Grafalon.
