IKS012 is a preclinical antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed for the treatment of solid tumors, designed to target folate receptor alpha (FOLR1), which is highly expressed in ovarian and other solid cancers. The molecule consists of a FOLR1-directed monoclonal antibody conjugated to a cytotoxic tubulin-inhibiting payload, enabling selective delivery of a microtubule-disrupting agent to FOLR1-positive tumor cells while sparing normal tissues. IKS012 originates from Iksuda Therapeutics’ ADC platform and is being advanced toward IND-enabling studies in collaboration with LigaChem Biosciences, with the goal of providing a more potent and tolerable option for patients with FOLR1-expressing solid tumors.[1][5][7]
