Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IL-10 BCMA CAR-T is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Leman Biotech for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. The therapy consists of T cells engineered to express a CAR targeting B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and are further modified with Leman's proprietary Meta 10 technology to express interleukin-10 (IL-10). This IL-10 armoring is designed to enhance the metabolic fitness and effector function of the CAR-T cells within the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, potentially overcoming T-cell exhaustion and improving the durability of clinical responses. The candidate is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial (NCT07085559).
