IL-10 CD19 CAR-T is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Leman Biotech. The therapy consists of T cells engineered to target the CD19 antigen, which is widely expressed on B-cell malignancies, and further modified to co-express Interleukin-10 (IL-10). This "armoring" strategy, based on the company's proprietary Meta 10 platform, is designed to enhance the metabolic fitness and effector function of the CAR-T cells. By leveraging IL-10 signaling, the therapy aims to promote a memory-like phenotype, improve persistence, and prevent T-cell exhaustion within the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for various B-cell hematologic cancers, including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), as well as autoimmune conditions such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
