Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IL-11 miniprotein is a de novo-designed miniprotein being developed by VRG Therapeutics for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and sarcopenia. Developed using the company's proprietary AI-driven platform, AI-MPRO, the miniprotein is designed to selectively block interleukin-11 (IL-11) signaling. By inhibiting the IL-11 pathway, the therapeutic aims to halt or reverse fibrotic activity and muscle wasting. The candidate is currently in preclinical development.
