IL17A-CMVTT is an experimental **therapeutic vaccine** targeting **interleukin-17A** for inflammatory disease, particularly psoriasis. It consists of full-length dimeric murine IL-17A chemically conjugated to **CMVTT**, a **cucumber mosaic virus-like particle** platform engineered to include a **tetanus toxoid T-helper epitope** intended to enhance immunogenicity, including in aged or poor-responder settings. The vaccine is designed to induce endogenous polyclonal neutralizing anti-IL-17A antibodies, thereby functionally mimicking anti-IL-17 biologic therapy. In mouse imiquimod psoriasis models, it reportedly produced selective anti-IL-17A but not anti-IL-17F responses and showed efficacy comparable to an anti-IL-17A monoclonal antibody, with reversible and boostable antibody titers. The work is associated with academic and commercial groups around the CMVTT platform, including HealVax, Saiba, and collaborating investigators at the University of Dundee and University of Oxford.
