IL2 fusion toxin is a diphtheria toxin-based recombinant human interleukin-2 (IL2) fusion toxin. It was developed as an Ontak®-like therapeutic using a diphtheria toxin-resistant yeast Pichia pastoris expression system. This drug is designed to target cells expressing CD25, a cell-surface marker highly expressed in certain types of cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCL).
