ILB-2109 is an orally bioavailable small molecule antagonist of the adenosine A2A receptor (A2AR; ADORA2A), developed by Innolake Biopharm as an immune checkpoint inhibitor with potential immunomodulating and antineoplastic activities. By selectively binding to and inhibiting A2AR expressed on T lymphocytes, it aims to modulate the tumor microenvironment and enhance anti-tumor immune responses. The drug is being investigated for use in patients with locally advanced or metastatic solid malignancies, including melanoma, cervical cancer, head and neck cancer, non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), nasopharyngeal cancer, endometrial cancer, sarcoma/soft tissue cancers, lymphoma, ovarian cancer, and triple negative breast cancer. Clinical trials are ongoing in China at Phase 1/2 stages.
