ILB-312 is a second-generation, exosome-based anti-inflammatory protein therapeutic developed by ILIAS Biologics. It is designed to inhibit the nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-κB) pathway, a key regulator of inflammation and immune response. The drug leverages exosome technology to deliver its therapeutic payload efficiently. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that exosomes loaded with a super-repressor form of IκB (Exo-srIκB) can significantly reduce inflammatory cytokines and joint tissue damage in models of rheumatoid arthritis. This positions ILB-312 as a promising candidate for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and potentially other immune-mediated diseases[1][2][3].
