Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ILG-F is a fully human fusion protein developed by ILGEN Inc. for the treatment of vasculogenic erectile dysfunction (ED), specifically targeting cavernosal artery insufficiency. Unlike traditional PDE5 inhibitors that focus on smooth muscle relaxation, ILG-F is designed to stimulate revascularization and restore the function of cavernosal endothelial cells. By addressing the underlying vascular pathology, it aims to provide a disease-modifying approach for patients with ED caused by poor blood flow. The drug is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
