Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ILGEN's anti-LAG-3 antibody is a fully human monoclonal antibody currently in preclinical development for the treatment of various cancers. It targets Lymphocyte Activation Gene-3 (LAG-3), an inhibitory checkpoint receptor expressed on the surface of activated T cells. By blocking the interaction between LAG-3 and its ligands, the antibody relieves immune suppression and enhances the antineoplastic activity of the immune system. The candidate was developed using ILGEN's proprietary technology platform (US Patent 9810694) for generating high-affinity, fully human antibodies and has been featured in research presentations at ESMO and AACR.
