This is a **combination therapy** of ilixadencel—an allogeneic cell-based immune primer (dendritic cell therapy)—with a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI), most often sunitinib or regorafenib. **Ilixadencel** is administered intratumorally to stimulate and prime a systemic anti-tumor immune response by recruiting and activating endogenous cross-presenting dendritic cells, leading to T cell–mediated cytotoxicity. TKIs (such as sunitinib or regorafenib) are orally administered small molecules that inhibit various receptor tyrosine kinases involved in tumor cell survival, proliferation, and angiogenesis, including VEGFR, PDGFR, and KIT. The combination aims to enhance anti-tumor immune activity by both (a) removing immunosuppressive effects via TKI-mediated antiangiogenesis and (b) priming tumor-specific immune responses via dendritic cell activation. Primary indications under investigation are **metastatic renal cell carcinoma** (mRCC) and **gastrointestinal stromal tumors** (GIST) resistant to TKI therapy. Ilixadencel is developed by Immunicum.
