Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ILS-2501 is an investigational transdermal recombinant human insulin spray being developed by InsuLife for the treatment of insulin-dependent diabetes, including type 1 diabetes. Designed as a needle-free alternative to traditional subcutaneous injections, the product (formerly known as Levellor) delivers recombinant human insulin through the skin to activate insulin receptors and regulate blood glucose levels. The therapy aims to improve patient compliance and quality of life by eliminating the need for multiple daily injections while maintaining efficacy comparable to standard insulin delivery methods. It is currently in the preclinical/investigational stage of development.
