Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IM-102 is an investigational monoclonal antibody that functions as an antagonist of the cannabinoid receptor 1 (CB1R). Developed by Integral Molecular, this anti-CB1 antibody is designed to selectively target and block CB1R signaling, a pathway implicated in metabolic, neurologic, and substance use disorders. As a biologic CB1 antagonist rather than a small-molecule ligand, IM-102 aims to achieve high specificity for CB1R with a distinct pharmacologic and safety profile compared with earlier small-molecule CB1 blockers.
