IM-23 is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy targeting CD123 (interleukin-3 receptor subunit alpha), developed for the treatment of CD123-positive acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The therapy involves engineering a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that recognizes and binds to CD123 on leukemic cells, enabling targeted immune-mediated destruction of these cancerous cells. Developed by Beijing Imunopharm Technology Co., Ltd., IM-23 has reached Phase 1 clinical trials in AML patients[2][4].
